We’re preparing a small local pilot. OurDadda is not taking bookings or applications yet.
Small home jobs, properly organised.
Do you know someone good?
We’re building OurDadda for adults who need practical help at home.
And for paid helpers, local businesses and people giving their time.
Who it’s for
OurDadda is being prepared with four kinds of people in mind.
Need a hand
For people with a small job at home they might want help with, for themselves or for someone they’re arranging help for.
Earn locally
For local people with a practical skill, from fixing and gardening to simple sewing repairs, who might want paid local jobs. Working, retired or somewhere in between.
Bring your business
For existing local businesses and trades.
Help locally
For people who might choose to help neighbours for free, as a Good Deed.
Interest does not confirm eligibility.
Register your interest
Leave your email and we’ll let you know when the pilot opens near you. Registering doesn’t book a job or commit you to anything.
Arranging help for someone else
Planning help for someone else? In a future job, arranging help would not let you decide for another person: permission for the visit and approval of the cost would be separate.
Where we’re starting
We’re preparing for local interest around Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Swadlincote and Burton. This is a recruitment area, not a promise that a job can be booked or carried out there.
